My long delayed photo-post on my last trip to Labuan Bajo – Komodo Island – Bali with the amazing team from Indonesia Tourism Board. My favourite during this trip got to be the journey to Komodo Island and Pink Beach. Never would I thought that I will have the chance to visit there so one tick off my bucket list!
Pink Beach is amazing. The sands aren’t exactly THAT pink like you’ll see from Google images but they are incredibly soft and clean. A very, very subtle pinkish hues under the sun but what really left a deep impression in me is how clear the waters is. I even had the chance to snorkel there! If they say there is paradise on earth, Pink Beach definitely come close :)
Wonderful Indonesia indeed.

What I love most about travelling is that you get to meet the locals and talk to them. Getting to know the city you’re in directly from the locals is totally different than googling on it. So, one of my favourite moments when I was in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam last month was meeting lovely Nhung who so kindly introduced me to this amazing local label – LAM Boutique.
I am personally a huge fan of minimalistic designs… My clothes are usually in a solid colour, and details such as intricate laces and low backs are my ultimate favourite! Thus, when I first saw the LAM’s designs, I was elated! They are elegant, sensual and simple, soft yet bold at the same time. I was so excited to try them on especially this particular midi length slip dress that is made of the softest silk with lace details at the bottom.
I never knew I would be able to find such a gem in Vietnam… This city is full of surprises. From the people to the city’s buzzing traffic to their food and local fashion boutiques. Never thought that Vietnam will be my kind of getaway city but I’m so glad I gave it a try. Now I can’t wait to head back again and explore more!
