What I love most about travelling is that you get to meet the locals and talk to them. Getting to know the city you’re in directly from the locals is totally different than googling on it. So, one of my favourite moments when I was in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam last month was meeting lovely Nhung who so kindly introduced me to this amazing local label – LAM Boutique.
I am personally a huge fan of minimalistic designs… My clothes are usually in a solid colour, and details such as intricate laces and low backs are my ultimate favourite! Thus, when I first saw the LAM’s designs, I was elated! They are elegant, sensual and simple, soft yet bold at the same time. I was so excited to try them on especially this particular midi length slip dress that is made of the softest silk with lace details at the bottom.
I never knew I would be able to find such a gem in Vietnam… This city is full of surprises. From the people to the city’s buzzing traffic to their food and local fashion boutiques. Never thought that Vietnam will be my kind of getaway city but I’m so glad I gave it a try. Now I can’t wait to head back again and explore more!

SLEEK AND WELL DRESSED
18 November 2015
Today’s outfit featuring this sleek and classy pin striped pants from And Well Dressed. There are so many similar pants out there but what made me really love about this pair from AWD is that it is entirely lined and thick meaning no fear of showing your undies at all! If you’re a fan of white bottoms, you’ll understand the pain of finding one that is truly not sheer. And… Am I the only one that is not quite over the stripes trend?
One of many things I’ve learnt over the years from shooting is that – natural light is our best friend. Sometimes your skin burn and your eyes hurt after being under the sun for a couple of hours but more than often the end results you get are worth getting a shade tanner for. Here’s a great session with fellow friend and photographer, Glenn.
