SEOUL DIARY DAY 4 & 5
27 October 2014
Holla! Feeling really excited right now because i just booked my tickets to Seoul again end of this year!!!!! People have been telling me that i’ll freeze to death there though but i’m still pretty stoked for it hee. Will be opening travel advert slots in end Nov with special rates so to anyone who are keen, do keep a lookout! More details will be up soon :) Ok but anyway… That reminded me that i have totally forgotten to post the last bit of my previous Seoul trip so here it is!
Headed to Garosu-gil for some shopping and to check out the cafes and dinner! Love the extremely chill vibes over there! Gotta be one of my favourite place to go to now!

Shopping in Seoul is definitely not cheap. I didn’t manage to buy much during the trip too… Even roadside stalls that sells accessories are expensive. One ring is about SGD$20ish?
Oh, Beans Bins! You must try their waffles it’s sooo good. They have so many outlets everywhere i’m sure you are bound to see one easily!
Soph and i booked a 7am morning tour to the DMZ the next day, also known as Korean Demilitarized Zone that runs along the land border of North and South Korea. If i have to recommend a must visit place in Seoul, i would say the DMZ! You will need to book a tour for it though – Just google it and there will be tons of tour companies out there! :)
Wishes hung on the fence that seperates South and North..
Also got a chance to take peek of North Korea. It is literally a piece of no-man’s land.
We also passed by the Sewol Ferry disaster memorial site at City Hall!
It was honestly quite a sight and sad to see all these drawings done by students, parents and whoever were affected :(
Then we decided to visit the Noryangjin Fish Market! Heard people saying it’s a must go place in Seoul. Basically, it’s just a wet market and you get to buy all kinds of seafood there. You can then go to the restaurants that are within the market and get them to cook your seafood for you!
The seafood are really pretty fresh but it is definitely not cheap. We only bought scallops, prawns and sashimi and the bill came up to SGD60/80. Not sure if the restaurant we went were good though, you might want to walk around and QC first before deciding! Oh and remember to order crabs when you’re there! I heard people raving about crabs there…. A pity we didn’t get to try! And if you’re feeling a lil more adventurous, you can also order the fresh live octopus here!

So that’s about it! Didn’t cover much places and try much stuffs this trip so i can’t wait to do so in Dec!!! Heard there will be snow as well hehehe i have never seen snow before so don’t judge ok… Heh.

TOP: FROM BANGKOK
SHORTS: SASSY DREAM
HAT: FROM BANGKOK
I’ve said it on my Instagram before, i will say it here again. Nothing, seriously, nothing a pair of fringe shorts can’t do. Probably my favourite lounging/ sunday brunch/ errands day kinda shorts currently.
Starting today’s blog post with Sassy Dream. Having worked with them previously when i went for my Korea trip, i was so glad when they approached me to collaborate together once more! Other than the above mentioned fringe shorts, my next favourite, got to be the cut out cropped top! I love it so much that i had to have it in 2 colours! Hey, cropped tops are godsent. You can wear them everywhere, any time, for any occassion, right?
Anyway, good news for those who prefer shopping in stores… Sassy Dream has just open a new shop at Far East Plaza #01-80 and to celebrate their opening, they will be having a storewide 20% discount for you and your girlfriends from now till 5th Oct (Sunday) so hurry down this weekend for some retail therapy! You might be able to find some of the outfits featured here in store too! :)
