SEOUL DIARY DAY 3
23 July 2014
Finally my second post on my Seoul trip! This was Day 3! Woke up late, grabbed a hot cuppa latte from a hidden, cosy coffee cafe near our guesthouse before rushing to Tosokchon to try the famous samgyetang (chicken ginseng soup)!
Initially, i was thinking, meh how good can ginseng chicken soup be? I mean i don’t eat this often in Singapore but i had pretty good ones over here before and Tosokchon’s will probably just be another overrated soup. But oh boy i was so wrong. It is the best ginseng chicken soup i’ve had….so far. I love how soft the chicken is and how fragrant the glutinous rice, ginseng and all the other herbs they used are. Very authentic and filling! I am very bad at describing food but i was so so so satisfied and happy with my meal after! For those who are interested (you should really try it anyway!!!): 5, Jahamun-ro 5-gil, Jongno-gu, Seoul
After which, we headed to gyeongbokgung palace to do some sightseeing! I’ve always loved to watch shows from this era and am always amazed by their histories and architectures
Still bummed that i didn’t get to try on and take a photo in the Korean Hanbok :(

Loved this picture of us!!!
Pretty tasty beansprouts-kimchi-pork belly road side dish! I love how there’s food everywhere! Just like in Bangkok. Why can’t we have road side stalls all over Singapore too!!!?
Just another shot of our favourite egg muffin, yum.
And then we headed to BAU House!!!!! Ah soooo happy we made our way there because if we didn’t, i wouldn’t have met my love, Beo-ri! Scroll down further, it’s below hehe
And that’s the dog whisperer. Haha i think he’s the owner of BAU House but seriously, he seems to be able to communicate with the doggies. So jealous!
This is baby husky!!!! Gonna grow up just as handsome as Beo-ri, i’m sure hehehe
Can you tell how huge he is?!!
Probably my favourite shot from this trip. So glad i managed to get a nice picture with him. Hee thanks Soph :*
For all the dog lovers here who are planning a trip to Seoul, don’t forget to visit this dog cafe! Here’s the add if you’re interested: Jeil Bldg. 1F, 394-44 Seogyo-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul :)
Hope you enjoyed this post! I haven’t been feeling well for the past few days now so i’m going to hit the sack first. Be right back with more visuals!

How is the new layout looking? It’s not entirely done up yet, still in the midst of getting certain pages and links to work, and doing some final touches but so far i am really liking it! The web designer has been such a joy to work with (more info on that later in a seperate post!), especially since i’m so bloody fickle yet she is still so patient with me hahaha and thank you to all those who have been dropping me suggestions – be it through emails, or on my ask.fm!
I can’t even believe it’s already July… How did 7 freaking months just passed by like that?! Something’s gonna change this July anyway! It is quite a decision that i had to make, the people i have to leave and disappoint but i’m thankful that everyone’s been really nice and encouraging towards me despite all these. I wish i can share more about this but i guess i will leave it till a later date. I sense a long speech coming up on that…. Hahaha. Meanwhile, i’ll see you guys on the other side – @itsfranxcesca!
